Wine Varietal: Chenin Blanc
So simple and elegant tasting.No matter what time of the year you make this burger, it is always fresh and zesty.
1lb fresh ground chicken
1lb fresh ground pork
1/2 cup chopped sauted onions
2 tsp freshly chopped rosemary
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Vodka
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
FIXINGS & BUNS
1/2 cup sliced onion rings
1 cup lemon stilton cheese or just stilton
1 cup aioli sauce
6 kaiser rolls ( cornmeal crusted prefered)
In a large bowl combine all of the patty ingredients and thoroughly mix together. Form into 6 even patties and set aside.
Meanwhile preheat your gas grill or arrange coals to medium heat on chargoal grill.
Once heated, place patties on grill and cook to medium, turning only once. About 5-7 minutes on each side.
The last 3 minutes of cooking, equally spread the stilton cheese over each patty and allow to melt.
On the outer edges of the grill toast the kaiser rolls for 1-2 minutes.
Assemble burgers by spreading equal amounts of the aioli sauce on both the top and bottom sides of the bun.
Place the patty on top and add the onion rings. Top with the remaining bun and enjoy!!
