Wine Varietal: Merlot
½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon all spice
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon freshly chopped green scallion
1 teaspoon freshly chopped hot pepper
½ teaspoon grated orange peel
1 ½ teaspoon grinded pimento leaves
2 ½ tablespoon dried pimento leaves
1/2 cup pureed onion
2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
2-2 ½ lbs. grounded sirloin
3 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup freshly chopped avocado
6 large tomatoes slices
6 green lettuce leaves
6 sandwich rolls/buns
Combine nutmeg, all spice, sugar, salt, black pepper, thyme, chopped green scallion, chopped hot peppers, orange peel, grinded pimento leaves, pureed onion, finely chopped garlic, and fresh breadcrumbs.
Add this combination of ingredients to grounded sirloin and mix together.
Divide seasoned sirloin into six equal portions of patties.
Prepare medium grilled with dried pimento leaves on charcoal fire.
Add patties to grill. Cover patties and allow cooking for five minutes on each side.
Slice sandwich rolls/buns and brush inner sides with olive oil. Then lightly toast face down on grill.
Serve sandwich rolls/buns by adding lettuce leaves, patties, tomatoes and chopped avocado.
