Wine Varietal: White Zinfandel
½ cup white vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon freshly chopped scotch bonnet (optional)
1 large thinly sliced onion
2 lbs. minced red snapper fillets
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 teaspoon salt
½ tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
1 lightly beaten egg white
6 large tomatoes slices
1 cup shredded green lettuce
6 sandwich rolls/buns
Combine powdered ginger, black pepper, salt, fresh thymes, and lightly beaten egg white.
Add combined ingredients to minced red snapper and mix together.
Divide into six equal portions of patties.
Prepare medium charcoal grill fire.
Add patties to grill. Cover patties and allow cooking for 1 minute on each side.
Sautéed onions by adding white vinegar, olive oil, and freshly ground black pepper in a sauce pan on grill. Freshly chopped scotch bonnet (optional)
Serve patties on sandwich rolls/buns with sautéed onions, shredded lettuce, and tomatoes
