Wine Varietal: Chardonnay
This burger is full of all favorite and local seasonings and herbs, while still providing a healthy meal that sticks to your ribs.
2 lbs natural ground turkey
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped
1/4 teaspoon rosemary finely chopped
1 cup fresh tomato finely diced
1 clove garlic chopped
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 chili powder
1 tbs Colavita olive oil
1/4 tsp Lea & Perrins
2 tbs Sutter Home Chardonnay
1 egg beaten
1 tsp fresh dill finely chopped
1/4 cup mayo
12 slices Buttered Texas Toast
5 oz. Traasure Cave Smoked Blue Cheese Crumbles
1/2 med purple onion cut into 6 thin slices
1 tsp coarse black pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
1 cup fresh red leaf lettuce
1 cup fresh spinach
Stir and Mix turkey, onion, cilantro, rosemary, tomato ,garlic, black pepper, salt, chili powder, olive oil, lea & perrins, chardonnay, and egg. Shape in to 6 oblong shaped patties.
Preheat grill for high heat. Place burgers on grill and reduce heat to medium. Cook approx. 8 minutes per side or until done.
While burgers are cooking mix dill and mayo and set aside.
Just before pulling burgers, sprinkle blue cheese leave on grill for one minute then remove to let rest.
Place toast slices on grill and lightly toast or Brown on both sides. Pull toast spread the mayo/dill spread on all 12 slices. Place burgers on 6 toast slices. Top with onion slices, coarse pepper and salt, red leaf lettuce and spinach. Place remaining toast slices on each burger
