A great tasting better for you burger!
I invented this recipe one day when I was considering ordering Osso Bucco at a resteraunt.
I combined my two favorite sandwiches; a turkey club with a burger to make one great sandwich.
I live in East Texas and East Texans love to grill and love the Cajun influence of being so close to Louisiana.
I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, which is famous for the Kentucky Hot Brown. We are also famous for bourbon, so I decided to marry the two together.
I love Caprese salad and thought about combining those flavors on a burger.
This burger was inspired by one of my previous beef burger entries for Build a Better Burger 2006. I realized that the flavors would work equally well with turkey and they did.
