It is a great privilege to live on the Chesapeake Bay. We watch the watermen at work every day; in rain, shine or Nor'easter.
Salmon has been a staple of Northwest cuisine throughout known history, as have blueberries, both wild and cultivated.
The Pacific Northwest is known for its fresh, flavorful salmon and delicious berries. I have always enjoyed blueberries, and thought that they would complement the mild salmon flavor.
We are displaced Seattle persons, living in Texas. While in the Northwest we enjoyed the fresh wild-caught salmon.
