Give Your Thanksgiving Table Setting a Personal Touch with These DIY Hand-Painted Plates

Thanksgiving is upon us. What You’ll Need:

  • Porcelain plate
  • Oil-based paint pens or porcelain pens
  • Pencil

How to Make:

  1. Make sure your plate is clean of any dust.
  2. Draw out your design with pencil onto the plate.
  3. With your oil-based paint pens or porcelain pens, carefully trace your design and decorate.
  4. Allow the paint to fully dry for 24 hours. It’s important that the oil in the pens dry completely before baking.
  5. Set your oven to 300 degrees and bake your plate for 35 minutes.
  6. Let cool and then enjoy!
