Mason jars are having their moment in the spotlight – and this time, they’re masquerading as wine glasses! We’re turning the rustic canning-turned-crafty glassware into a party-ready wine glass with this easy DIY that will be ready to serve your go-to Sutter Home wine in no time.
Transforming classic mason jars into modern wine glasses instantly takes your toasts to the next level, but they also make a kindhearted parting gift for guests. Before everyone heads home, invite partygoers to keep their unique mason jar wine glasses as a nice gesture that will leave them with fond memories of your time spent celebrating.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- 2 – 16 oz. mason jars
- 2 glass candlesticks (found at your local craft store)
- 1 tube waterproof glue
Here’s how to put it all together:
Apply glue to the top of the candlestick and around the rim. Center the candlestick to the bottom of the mason jar and apply pressure.
Let the glue dry for 24 hours before use.
After the glue has dried, rinse thoroughly before use.
