White Merlot

| Posted by Megan for Sutter Home

Happy Friday everyone! It’s time for us to go home, kick up our feet, and open a bottle of White Merlot.

A bright, light red color and sweet cherry and raspberry aromas characterize this wine. Soft, round, juicy cherry and berry flavors form structure and a full, rich texture. Serve chilled as an aperitif, or as an excellent accompaniment to picnic and barbecue fare, seafood, poultry, ham, and spicy ethnic cuisines.

Yummmm, a perfect way to start our weekend! What are your plans?

For more information, visit the wine page, or order it online at One Stop Wine Shop (where legal).

Hi Michelle - Thank you for posting about pancreatic cancer awareness month in November. The reason that we are so dedicated to breast cancer awareness is that one of our owners was affected by breast cancer and 10 years ago we started Sutter Home for Hope in her honor. Thank you for your comment.

WHO ISN'T AWARE OF BREAST CANCER???

How about helping bring awareness to a cancer NO ONE knows about until it takes someone they love??? How about raising awareness for PANCREATIC CANCER - THE MOST LETHAL CANCER of the top ten cancer-killers???

NOVEMBER IS PANCREATIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH - and there is NO OTHER cancer that so desperately needs not only awareness, but funding for research. PANCREATIC CANCER today is where breast cancer was FORTY YEARS AGO!!! It has NO EARLY DETECTION methods - no self-exam, no mammogram, no colonoscopy, no prostate exam and worse yet, NO SYMPTOMS UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE!

NOVEMBER IS PANCREATIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH ~ KNOW IT. FIGHT IT. END IT. (www.PanCAN.org / www.KnowItFightItEndIt.org / www.Lustgarten.org)

I am drinking this delicious wine as we speak and I think its great that they are promoting breast cancer awareness and I am sad to hear that one of the owners has been affected by it. Michelle, you are super hype. Maybe you should make a wine that supports pancreatic cancer awareness?
