Loraine Despres
Born and raised in Amite, Louisiana, Loraine Despres brings her small-town, magnolia-sweet charm and experience growing up as a daughter of the South to her irresistible debut novel, The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc.
A screenwriter and television consultant who has written for such beloved television programs as The Love Boat, The Waltons, Dallas, and Dynasty, she lives with her husband, Carleton Eastlake, in Beverly Hills.
