- Collect pinecones and lightly dust with metallic spray paint such as gold or silver. Use these pinecones to add shine and sparkle to your table.
- Fill the opening of sea shells with casting cement for beautiful paperweights.
- For a floral centerpiece, integrate fruits such as apples, pomegranate, and grapes, in with the flowers to add richness to the arrangement.
- Or, skip the flowers and make a centerpiece from colorful grain stalks and dried grasses. Bunches of grains and grasses can be found at many craft stores. Tie bundles together with a wide, colorful ribbon.
