Entertaining Tips

Now that winter is here, make your guests cozy and welcome in your home. Think of the things that are most comforting to you: soft blankets, vanilla candles, fresh baked cookies…anything that reminds you of the comfort of home. Ten minutes before your guests arrive, pop some cookies into the oven so they’ll be gooey hot when they walk in the door. To keep the baking mess out of the kitchen, make the dough hours before hand and place cookies on a tray and keep refrigerated until you’re ready to pop them in the oven. It’s easy and makes you look like a baking pro!

After dinner, invite your guests to lounge around a warm fireplace and enjoy coffee, a class of red wine or port and delectable desserts. This is always a comforting and enjoyable to cap off a wonderful evening with friends.
