Entertaining Tips
Barnyard Party
Take inspiration from the rustic but warmly hospitable atmosphere of a farm and embellish your table with original barnyard décor.
-Use old glass Mason jars as vases for wildflowers. Tie a bright natural-colored ribbon around the base to dress them up for a dinner occasion. You can also place small tealight candles inside the jars for a pastoral-style candle holder.
-To add some rustic flare to the table, tie bright cloth napkins with natural rope or twine.
-Move your patio furniture out onto the lawn, under the shade of a big tree and invite friends over for dinner. When dusk comes, use lanterns to keep the party going into the night.
-Use a galvanized tub to keep your wine and beverages on ice. It’s an attractive alternative to the cooler.
